Fitting the damp proof membrane

The Kitchen walls have been completely stripped and the main joists have been treated with with the cuprinol five star wood tratment and ready to have the damp proof membrane fitted.

The membrane is easy to work with, easy to join or patch, just need screws washers rubber grommets and silicon.Cut to rough size fix to the wall then trim and secure, awkward areas cut in half put the top area up work on the bottom with a smaller piece easy to cut and handle use the rubber tape to join, simple but effective, "does what it says on the tin"

A few patches to put in and a few bottoms to cut in, there will be a wooden trim painted with Isoflex at the top to seal and battening to hang the final ply wall. Good product, highly recommended, easy to work with.
