As previously mentioned the tongue and groove taken out of the dividing wall between the kitchen and hallway is going to be resized cut and used to make a kitchen table and benches.
The table has been made the benches are in production but so far more than pleased, there are a few imperfections which only add to it's final character.
The table is slightly longer and narrower than your average kitchen table this is due to the space available.
The decision for benches as opposed to chairs was made for two reasons, one easier access than chairs in the space available and secondly it fits with the boat, the kitchen space was the original ships kitchen and crew area, there would have been bench seating for convenience.
