Parquet upstand/cladding

The floors are laid leaving the step and upstand's from varying levels need to be clad, we still have the mahogany strips that were originally laid in the original hallway, plan being, as with the bed, we are going to rip down the lengths into thinner strips and use that to clad the step and upstand's.
